The Mini Mayfair was launched in 1982. The Mini Estate ceased production and was destined to become a collectorΓÇÖs item.
The Mini Sprite SE arrived on the scene in 1983 sporting meaty alloys and wheelarch spats. 1984 saw the launch of the Mini 25 in magnificent silver. The Mini Ritz was launched the year after, giving the Mini a subtle hint of London style. The range of London Minis expanded in 1986 with the introduction of both a Mini Chelsea and then Mini Piccadilly. The Wimbledon-inspired Mini Advantage and a striking black Mini Park Lane arrived the following year.
Limited editions were "go" in 1988 with the launch of the Mini Red Hot, Mini Jet Black and Mary QuantΓÇÖs Designer Mini complete with black and white stripy seats.
New and very colourful limited editions were launched ΓÇö Mini Flame, Racing, Rose and Sky.
